Dear Partners and Colleagues,
We are pleased to invite you to the second GeoLi Networking Event of the BrineRIS project (Brines of RIS countries as a source of CRM and energy supply), held on 4 December 2024 in Wrocław, Poland.
BrineRIS is an international project, co-funded by EIT Raw Materials, that deals with the capacity building of European countries under the EIT Regional Innovation Scheme (RIS) in applying geothermal brines as a source of critical elements and energy. The project is carried out by a scientific and industrial consortium led by the Faculty of Geoengineering, Mining, and Geology, Wroclaw University of Science and Technology. For more information, please visit https://brineris.pwr.edu.pl/ . During the meeting, the final results of the project will be presented.
The second Geothermal Lithium Networking Event is also an excellent opportunity to present your organization and pitch research and development ideas. In addition, you are invited to demonstrate the results of your projects and exchange knowledge and experience with professionals and scientists from around the world involved in recovering critical elements from geothermal brines and producing heat and energy from hot underground water. We would be delighted if you could introduce your Institution or Project to the event participants.
We hope the meeting participants will establish contacts, resulting in cooperation and new scientific-industrial consortia to implement joint R&D, education, or up-scaling projects with possible pathways for new business investments.
Together, we can build the future of the European supply chain for elements crucial in developing modern technologies. We cordially invite you to Wrocław!
Please fill out the form to register: https://forms.gle/zHZ5dNYA1xcEGUYg6 .
The conference is free of charge; however, the number of participants is limited. The working language is English.
We hope you will accept our invitation and we will meet on 4 December at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology. Online participation is also possible.
We would be more than happy if you shared this message with your colleagues and collaborating institutions who might be interested in the event.
