A few days ago, BrineRIS project member Timm Wunderlich from TU Bergakademie Freiberg presented the BrineRIS EIT RawMaterials Project at the GeothermieKongress2023. His presentation was entitled “Stoffliche und energetische Nutzung von hochmineralisierten, tiefen Solewässern zur Reduzierung von Lieferabhängigkeiten” (Material and Energy Utilisation of Highly Mineralised, Deep Brine Waters to Reduce Supply Dependencies). During his speech, Timm not only presented the opportunities offered by the utilisation of deep, highly mineralised waters but also referred to the BrineRIS project and TUBAF’s tasks in the project.
