LithiumSymposium organised by GeoSphere Austria

On April 23, the BrineRIS EIT RawMaterials Project was presented by project coordinator Magdalena Worsa-Kozak at the #LithiumSymposium organised by GeoSphere Austria in Vienna. The event discussed lithium supply chain issues and its environmental, economic, and societal challenges. The speech on “Geothermal brines as a probable source of energy and critical metals – Brine RIS project” was very well received by the audience.
Lidia Razowska-Jaworek from the Państwowy Instytut Geologiczny- Państwowy Instytut Badawczy, promoted the BrineRIS project with the poster introducing new data on Polish geothermal lithium exploration. Thanks to Lidia for her support, which made the BrineRIS project even more attractive to a broader audience and highlighted the importance of prospecting for new sources of critical raw materials in the context of sustainable development in RIS countries.
