On September 5, thanks to an international collaboration with Prof Christian Wolkersdorfer from Tshwane University in Pretoria, South Africa and the President of #IMWA, members of #Team#BrineRIS at #WUST had the opportunity to learn the basics of hydrogeochemical modeling using #Phreeqc. Our guest introduced us to the capabilities of this open-sourced software in #acid#mine#drainage (#AMD) and mine #water#management issues. We will certainly use the new skills in the implementation of the project.
