The IV Polish Geological Congress (Polski Kongres Geologiczny) – the most significant cyclic event in Polish Geosciences – was held last week at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. During the event, almost 400 participants had the opportunity to listen to many interesting lectures, take part in discussions and poster sessions and participate in a panel discussion on the future of Polish geology. The event brought together scientists, professionals, experts, students and geology enthusiasts and fostered the exchange of knowledge and experience. One of the programme’s highlights was the presentation of the Brineris project, given by Magdalena Worsa-Kozak during the “Geology of Mineral Deposits and Mining” session. The speech was met with great interest and discussion behind the scenes.
