On September 5, thanks to an internatio<\/span>nal collaboration with Prof Christian Wolkersdorfer from Tshwane Unive<\/span>rsity in Pretoria, South Africa and the President of <\/span>#IMWA<\/a>, members of <\/span>#Team<\/a>#BrineRIS<\/a> at <\/span>#WUST<\/a> had the opportunity to learn the basics of hydrogeochemical modeling using <\/span>#Phreeqc<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span>Our guest introduced us <\/span>to the capabilities of this open-sourced software in <\/span>#acid<\/a>#mine<\/a>#drainage<\/a> (<\/span>#AMD<\/a>) and mine <\/span>#water<\/a>#management<\/a> issues. We will certainly use the new skills in the <\/span>implementation of the project.<\/span><\/p>\n
